At ALA-Dallas, we use the newest and most revolutionary technology for skin rejuvenation going beyond traditional fractional resurfacing. It is not a laser but, instead, uses bi-polar radio frequencies (RF) to provide dramatic results for improving wrinkles, skin tone and texture, and minimizing the appearance of scars.
Is this right for me?
Some of the areas typically treated include face, neck and chest but can be used on other areas as well. This treatment is appropriate for all skin types.
The Stretch Mark Therapy Treatment improves:
- Acne Scarring
- Scars (including surgical)
- Enlarged pores
- Uneven Skin Tone
- Pigmentation including red & brown spots
- Textural Irregularities
- Superficial skin lesions
Does it hurt?
During treatment, you may feel a warm, prickly-type sensation as the energy enters the skin. After treatment, the area may look and feel ‘sunburned.’ A numbing cream or cooling may be applied before treatment.
How does it work?
The ergonomic applicator delivers bi-polar radio frequency (RF) energy through a matrix of electrodes dots to “injure” the skin which brings about a wound healing response. The energy is delivered below the top layer of skin making it a safer choice to avoid unwanted pigmentation.
How many treatments?
The treatment itself takes 15-30 minutes. Most people see optimum results with 3 or 4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The results are cumulative so you will see greater results with each treatment.
How long is recovery?
Downtime is minimal. You can expect 1-3 days of redness and swelling. The light scabbing left from the fractionated tip is normal and can take up to 5-7 days to resolve, but can easily be covered with makeup. Some people schedule treatment prior to a weekend.
If you are looking for a way to achieve younger looking skin, this sublative resurfacing treatment can produce amazing results.
